This replacement pickguard is made specifically for the Fender Mike Dirnt Signature Precision Bass and will not fit the Sting signature bass (see FSB-5300 for the Sting version of this pickguard) or any other P Bass / Tele Bass instrument

Magnum locking - The locking mechanism works by inserting the string through the hole in the post as per usual but making sure that you hold the end of the string taught while turning the tuning machine button and this will automatically clamp the string into place

E to E string spacing - 56mm

most guitars work better with Audio (log) taper pots for a smooth and gradual audio drop-off when turning the pot through the entire sweep (such as the 450-500XL-1 pots here)
